Here are several links, I've collected, to websites where Fascia is being discussed. There aren’t many clinical trials proving that MFR is effective as a treatment, due to every body’s fascial system being so different to begin with, and each one having its own, individual set of particular restrictions or patterns of tension, that the usual ‘clinical controlled trial’ isn’t possible.
However, the article listed below, from CNN, does list a couple studies.
There are many books, written by Physical Therapists and other Myofascial Release Therapists who have gotten permission from their patients to share their success stories. So, the data proving the behavior of the fascial system and the efficacy of the gentle hands-on treatment, MFR, is being collected, and shared, as this treatment becomes more mainstream.

To find a Myofascial Release Therapist in your area, go to MFRHealth.com and do a search. If this directory doesn't show anyone near you, the MFR community has a Facebook page called MFR Insight, it's a private page, but you can request to join and request a therapist there in the comments.
